Rare Dermatology Terms of Use
These Terms are intended to define the conditions and procedures for using the services provided by Rare Dermatology (hereinafter referred to as the “Clinic”), as well as other necessary matters, in accordance with the Telecommunications Business Act of the Republic of Korea and its Enforcement Decree.
Article
1 (Purpose, etc.)
① These Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as the “Terms”) govern the
rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the Members and the Clinic in
relation to the use of internet-related services (hereinafter referred to as
the “Services”) provided by the Clinic.
② Any person who wishes to become a Member and completes the prescribed
registration procedure by clicking the “Register” button shall be deemed to
have agreed to these Terms. Matters not specified herein shall be governed by
applicable laws of the Republic of Korea and customary practices.
Article 2 (Definition of Member)
A “Member” refers to a person who accesses the Clinic, registers as an online
member in accordance with these Terms, and receives the Services provided by
the Clinic.
Article
3 (Membership Registration)
① Any person who wishes to become a Member shall apply for membership by
filling out the registration form prescribed by the Clinic and clicking the
“Register” button.
② The Clinic shall register the applicant as a Member unless the applicant
falls under any of the following:
- The applicant has previously lost membership under Article 6, Paragraph 3 of these Terms; however, exceptions may be made if three (3) years have passed since such loss and the Clinic approves re-registration.
- The application contains false information, omissions, or errors.
- The Clinic determines that registration would cause significant technical difficulties.

The membership agreement shall be deemed effective when the Clinic’s approval
reaches the applicant.
④ Members must promptly update any changes to their registered information.
Article
4 (Provision and Modification of Services)
① The Clinic provides the following Services:
- Online consultation and reservation services
- Member-exclusive sections and content
- Other services provided in cooperation with affiliated partners
② The Clinic may modify the Services and shall notify Members of any changes in accordance with Article 7, Paragraph 2.

5 (Suspension of Services)
① The Clinic may temporarily suspend the provision of Services in the event of
maintenance, replacement, or failure of information and communication
facilities, or interruption of communication. The Clinic may also completely
discontinue Services if deemed necessary.
② In the event of such suspension, the Clinic shall notify Members in
accordance with Article 7, Paragraph 2; however, prior notice may not be
possible in unavoidable circumstances beyond the Clinic’s control.

6 (Withdrawal and Loss of Membership)
① Members may request termination of their membership at any time, and the
Clinic shall process such requests without delay.
② The Clinic may restrict, suspend, or terminate a Member’s status if the
Member falls under any of the following:
- Providing false information at the time of registration
- Interfering with the use of the Clinic’s services by others or misusing their information
- Engaging in acts that violate applicable laws, these Terms, or public order and morals
③ If the Clinic decides to terminate membership, it shall notify the Member in advance and provide an opportunity for explanation before deletion of registration.
Article
7 (Notice to Members)
① Notices to individual Members may be made via the email address registered
with the Clinic.
② Notices to unspecified Members may be made by posting on the Clinic’s website
for at least one (1) week in lieu of individual notification.
Article 8 (Protection of Personal
Information)
The Clinic shall endeavor to protect Members’ personal information in
accordance with applicable laws. Details regarding the protection of personal
information shall be governed by the relevant laws and the Clinic’s Privacy
Policy.

9 (Obligations of the Clinic)
① The Clinic shall comply with applicable laws and these Terms and shall strive
to provide continuous and stable Services.
② The Clinic shall implement security systems to protect Members’ personal
information (including credit information).
③ The Clinic shall not send unsolicited commercial emails to Members.
Article
10 (Member ID and Password)
① Except where the Clinic is responsible under applicable laws and the Privacy
Policy, Members are responsible for managing their own ID and password.
② Members shall not allow third parties to use their ID and password.
③ If a Member becomes aware that their ID or password has been stolen or is
being used by a third party, the Member must immediately notify the Clinic and
follow its instructions.
Article
11 (Obligations of Members)
① Members shall not engage in any of the following acts:
- Registering false information during application or modification
- Altering information posted by the Clinic
- Infringing upon the rights of the Clinic or third parties
- Using another Member’s ID unlawfully
- Sending spam, chain letters, obscene or violent content, or other materials that violate public order and morals
- Transmitting or posting prohibited information under applicable laws
- Impersonating the Clinic, its staff, or other individuals
- Disrupting system operations through malicious software or other means
- Harassing other Members (e.g., stalking)
- Collecting, storing, or disclosing personal information without consent
- Using the Services for commercial advertising or profit-making activities without authorization
- Violating these Terms or other service policies

The Clinic may restrict or terminate membership in accordance with Article 6 if
such acts occur.
③ Members shall be liable for damages caused to the Clinic or other Members due
to their fault.
Article 12 (Deletion of Public Posts)
The Clinic may delete any public post without prior notice and may restrict or
terminate membership if the content:
- Defames or harms the reputation of others
- Violates public order and morals
- Is related to criminal activity
- Infringes intellectual property or other rights
- Has a strong commercial or promotional nature
- Violates applicable laws
Article
13 (Copyright and Use Restrictions)
① All intellectual property rights related to materials created by the Clinic
belong to the Clinic.
② Members shall not reproduce, distribute, transmit, publish, or otherwise use
such materials for commercial purposes without prior consent.
Article
14 (Consultation Policy)
① Consultation content may be used for the following purposes after removing
personal information:
- Academic activities
- Clinical activities
- Improvement of medical services
② The Clinic may restrict consultations in the following cases:
- Repeated submissions of identical content
- Use of inappropriate or abusive language
- Requests for medical diagnosis
- Requests intended to harm others
Article
15 (Amendment of Terms)
① The Clinic may amend these Terms within the scope permitted by applicable
laws.
② Any amendments shall be announced on the website at least seven (7) days
prior to the effective date.
③ The amended Terms shall apply to existing Members unless otherwise prohibited
by law.
④ Members who do not agree to the amended Terms may terminate their membership
in accordance with Article 6.
Article 16 (Jurisdiction)
Any disputes arising between the Clinic and Members shall be subject to the
jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Korea in accordance with the
Civil Procedure Act.
Supplementary Provision
These Terms shall take effect on January 26, 2026, and shall remain in effect
until revised.
